How long have you been with Access Healthcare?
I joined the Access Healthcare team during Covid in 2021 and stayed for a year. I then took a break from the bedside for a year and a half, and returned back to Access Healthcare in October of 2023, and have been with them since!

How did you find out about Access Healthcare and what made you choose us?
I found Access Healthcare through another travel nurse at the facility I was in.

What is the best thing about being a nurse?
Being a nurse, you are able to see people at their most vulnerable state. It is both an honor and a privilege to care for patients during such hard times, even being a ray of hope to some of them, Being able to earn my patients trust in the most fulfilling thing about being a nurse!

What are some locations you have traveled to on assignment?
Most of my assignments have been around the NJ, NY, PA area.

HEY, HOW ARE YOU?

Happy July and Happy Birthday America! As we move into July the hotter month of the year! I would love to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our beautiful country. We have some of the most beautiful landscapes and amazing people in the world. To be a travel medical professional in this country is amazing. Mountain biking in North Carolina, hiking in Arizona, or even eating fresh lobster off the coast of Maine! The best landscape I have ever seen in my life is Acadia National Park in Maine. A must-see! Where are the best fireworks in the land? Philadelphia, New York City or Washington D.C. Where will you be?

I love this country, especially being a former travel medical professional turned entrepreneur. This is definitely still a country that offers opportunities as long as you are innovative and hard-working. Travel medical professionals are hitting the roads, airways, railways, and waterways even to get to their assignments to help health systems, patients, and patients’ families throughout our country. This sect of people are fearless and enjoy their lives traveling, meeting, and helping new people while enjoying and discovering different cultures in different corners of our beloved country.

For this July 4th, let’s have a big celebration! And I plan on doing a pay it forward. I challenge you to do some kind gesture for a fellow American or a foreign traveler this 4th. Pay for an entrance fee for a stranger or say some kind words. Also, do not forget to thank our veterans and current military for their service to allow this country to continue being Democratic and truly independent
